A good pair of sunnies can be a girl’s best friend, and we are all guilty of owning one too many pairs! Whether you have your classic go-to pair for a day at the park or a funky, on-trend pair for a casual date, sunglasses are a definite must for completing your outfit. Step up your sunglass game this season and keep scrolling for must-have pieces and how to style them from Jembere Eyewear designer herself, Abaynesh Jembere!
Oversized sunglasses are a classic that go with everything. I was inspired to create something bold and beautiful, so I designed the Nigist frame. This oversized frame has a slight butterfly silhouette, making it flattering for many face shapes. It's great for a casual look, such as with denim and a white tee or throw on your favorite sundress and these bold frames to complete your look!
Every woman needs a cat eye! What I loved most about designing our pair of Almaz cat eyes was the unique and subtle chain detail that I added along the top to make it pop! These shades will definitely get you noticed. Seen here on two different looks to demonstrate how you can wear them with your fave leather jacket and dress or throw them on with a crop top and skinny jeans. Either way, you will look effortlessly great!
For an ethnic-inspired piece to spice up your wardrobe, our Meskel II frames are definitely a favorite! The frame is adorned with a MESKEL, which means cross in my native language of Amharic. I was inspired to design a frame that shared some of my culture. Meskel 2 features a classic round shape with a mix of acetate and metal and a beautiful Meskel on the front frame. You can wear these with so many different looks. Seen here, you can throw them on with an LBD and your favorite hoop earring or jazz it up with camo pants and a crop top.
Aviators are another sunnie staple and every sunglasses enthusiast needs a go-to pair. When I designed our ADDIS aviator frames, I wanted to create a distinctive look. I really love mixing materials so I added an acetate top that allows you to play with color. Seen here is the Tortoise and Gold combo, which goes great with neutrals.
